Our chapter was able to secure a couple generators to get some lighting/fans blowing, but it was of course still pretty warm. As a random aside to add to the story of the storm- Jefferson County Public Schools (16th largest school district in the country) was supposed to have the first day of school tomorrow, but because so many schools still don't have power, the first day of school had to be pushed to Tuesday!

I saw that the schools were closed today - that was some storm! The ladies at U of L are going to have some great stories to tell about recruitment 2011! Surely by tomorrow the power will be restored.
