Death of a Sister

I was checking my e-mail and one of them had the subject of: Info on Mu Sister's death

The e-mail went as followed:

"Good morning ladies. Yesterday was a very sad day for the sisters of GAO Mu Chapter. At 10:00am we were present for the wake of Maria Aguila, one of the original founders of Mu Chapter. She passed away on June 11, 2002 in her home after a seizure..."

I can't believe it! I'm in total shock! We just got chartered in April and already I'm losing a sister. This is soooo sad! I don't even know how to react to it. Unfortunately, we're too far apart right now (Mu's in Milwaukee, WI and we're in California). I had to leave work when I found out because I couldn't deal with it.

The e-mail also said something about her previous boyfriend being abusive, which is when her health problems began. Because of this, the police have declared her death a homicide and have performed an autopsy. God, this is so sad!

Please keep her sisters and family in your prayers. I think I'll be signing off now.
