The UC Berkeley chapter of Sigma Alpha Epsilon lost its university recognition

As a result of the revocation, the chapter cannot apply for or be granted recognition from the university nor recruit members on the UC Berkeley campus for at least four years. Additionally, the national organization, its affiliates and alumni may not recruit members on campus for at least four years.

OUCH.

Since 2005, the campus has revoked recognition of campus chapters of seven fraternities and one sorority, Alpha Kappa Delta Phi, for reasons including fire and safety violations, social code violations and repeated risk management violations.

Damn.

Hope the guys are able to resolve this and get their recognition back.
