AMHERST - The University of Massachusetts fraternity where a student was injured in a fall this spring has been placed on emergency suspension by its national headquarters.
Daniel J. Fitzgibbons, a UMass spokesman, said the university received a letter from the national headquarters of the Delta Upsilon fraternity saying it took that action against the organization's local chapter . . . .
the university has also placed Delta Upsilon under the status of "interim expulsion/loss of recognition." . . .
