Parents in AA, NA, Rehab
Has anyone on here ever had to deal with a parent in Alcoholics Anonymus, Narcotics Anonymus or in Rehab for drug/alcohol addiction? Right now my dad is getting off house arrest for DUI's and moving into inpatient rehab at the request of his parole officer (yes, at times like these I feel like white trash) Has anyone else had to deal with this? I have my whole life, and he has his whole life. I know it has made me a stronger person and made me totally stay away from drugs, and kept me from abusing alcohol...
I just wanted to know if anyone out there in GC land was in the same place I was!
