Question Can International Exchange Students Join Frats/Sororities ?

Hey,
I'm currently studying in Melbourne Australia and looking to go to a College in USA in Fall 2012 as an International Exchange Student. At the moment I'm really considering applying for Cornell University since they have a very strong Architectural program.

Just wondering if many international students join Frats as the Greek life seems to be a huge part of Student Life at many of the Universities in the USA.

It would be great to get any feedback on the general idea of international students in Frats/Sororities or at Cornell in particular, and how International student would go about applying (im sure many other International Students would be interested too)

Cheers,
Mitch
