I'm using this forum as a resource for some research I'm doing. But my project is specifically on the lived experiences of sorority members based on interviews I conduct with active members, so an open forum like this is a perfect way to fill in some blanks and get a general feel about certain issues that I was unclear about based on my interviews.
But yeah, the stereotyping stuff was not an issue. I always had to ask about it, it never came up organically. None of them were victims about it, they recognized it was a thing but it wasn't a big deal to them. I thought that was pretty cool.
