Some unspecified number of years before 2000, as I was gathering my stuff to go home for the summer after my freshman year, my goal was to find $10 in loose change, dollar bills stuffed in pockets, whatever. I knew if I had $10, I could fill the tank and get a fountain drink and pack of gum for the trip.
That seems like lifetimes ago. Funny that I can remember it so clearly.
Geez. Now I feel the need to yell at all those kids on my lawn.
