Should We Still Listen?
Well, we all know that R. Kelly has been indicted on 21 counts of child pornography. Yesterday on the radio, the morning show asked listeners if they still wanted to hear his music on that station. Over 80% of people (they kept track) who called in said that they still wanted to hear his music regardless of whether he is found guilty or not.
Should we still listen to artists who are found guilty (not R. Kelly specifically, but artists in general) of serious crimes? Is continuing to support them condoning their behavior?
