Re: Rec Question

Hello Shae~

You are under no obligation whatsoever to offer anyone a bid----with a rec, without a rec, legacy, or not.

A few of my sisters and I were debating on this, and someone said that we would have to notify the alumnae who wrote the rec if we were not going to give the person a bid.

I don't think you necessarily have to notify the alumna/alumnae who wrote the rec, but I suppose it could be a courtesy.

Your question wasn't about legacies, but I thought I might mention that things are a bit different when dealing with legacies. I know that bids are definitely not mandatory, but you might want to ask Lexi or Annie (kdonline) about the specifics in this situation. (just in case it comes up)

AOT,

Leslie Anne
