haha actually my grandma, who I've been emailing throughout this whole process, just reminded me that I'm here to learn as well. Which I totally know!
Definitely was NOT expecting to show up to class and see 3/4 of the class (all girls) wearing their bid night shirts... including 1/4 or so in Captain Awesome shirts.
I know AXO may not still give me a bid through informal recruitment, and they may hate me for turning them down, but I'm hoping my explanation to my rusher made it clear enough that I was not signing a card because I wasn't ready yet, not because of anything they did or did not do (I think those were actually my exact words...)
I got an email today from SDT about their informal recruitment, and it looks like a lot of fun! Way more chill, for a start.
Like ice cream sandwiches on the quad and a beach trip? I can definitely live with that!
haha what can I say, I love being spoiled! But I think most people do.
SDT really made a good impression on me at the pre-recruitment meeting, so I'm looking forward to meeting these women.
I don't understand how what I did is like suiciding, when I didn't fill out a bid card at all? Ah well.
