Okay, when browsing around the Bama Panhel recruitment site I noticed this statement in a section devoted to the topic of recs:
"Only alumnae, not current active members, can fill out a “rec” for a potentail new member."
It was my understanding that each NPC group has its own national policy about who can write a rec, and
some but not all sororities permit undergrad actives to write recs. (Usually not for their own chapter, though. )
Not a biggie, I guess, but is the quoted statement correct, or is my understanding closer to current reality?
