After reading all of these responses, im feeling better about the situation. I will definitely try to get more involved in my house next year and i hope you girls are right when you say it will be easier to open up to my sisters living in.
I think one of my biggest problems in getting to know my sisters was that I got mono less than a month after we got bids and missed a lot of pledging events because of it and by the time I got better, it seemed that everyone already had their groups and because I am shy I had trouble forcing myself into the groups.
I rooming with two nice girls next year so hopefully I can really connect with them and they will help me meet more sisters.
I have a lot of friends outside greek life and in other houses, so im not necessarily worried about not having a great group of friends, but I just feel like Im not getting as much as I can out of my sorority experience and I want to be able to look back on it and think that it was the best that it could be.
