I dont know anyone personally (or that I can think of) that holds dual membership. I dont think it'd be much different from being in a a social fraternity/sorority and being a member of APO or GSS. I know a lot of people in that situation.

I do agree that it would probably be difficult to pledge APO and GSS at the same time. On some campuses probably impossible.

I would be interested to meet a dual APO/GSS from a HBCU.
