The "depraved" murder of a Jersey City couple on their return form celebrating their engagement has mobilized county homicide detectives, city police officers and law enforcement outside the jurisdiction, officials said this morning.
"All available resources from the Jersey City Police Department and the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office are working on this case, and we are in contact with agencies outside Hudson County," said Hudson County Prosecutor Edward DeFazio of the murder of
Michael Muchioki, 27 and
Nia Haqq, 25, on Randolph Avenue Easter Sunday.
