So, you decided to be typical and cliche`: Essentially, defend your org, explain why you chose it, and offer the "some of my close friends/family members are NPHC" qualifier.

You were old as heck when you finally became a Groove so you should really know better. There are some discussions (especially old threads like this) that you should let roll off of your back. Remember that you all care more about your organization than anyone else does. Many of us have only knowingly met a couple of Grooves and Swings in our lifetimes.
