I have to pay homeage to Pitt's new Sigma Delta Tau website for thinking about this, but most of us have a few quotes that we like and/or use for one reason or another. One from that site that I particularly liked is:

One with which I was raised is often attributed online to Mohammed Ali, yet it was in a Baptist missions booklet in 1955(?):
