Just patting myself on the back...
I graduated today, cum laude, departmental honors, university honors program scholar, outstanding senior, blah, blah, blah... I'm so glad to be finished! Except I went to pick up my degree and instead of saying "Cum laude, Honors in Music" it just said "Honors in Music" -- so there was a note in there that said "Oops, we goofed" and I'm getting a new diploma on Wednesday.
Either way, I'm finished, and that feels pretty wonderful.
They gave us special medals to wear at the university honors luncheon, with the honors college crest and our names engraved on the back (my school does elaborate medals instead of honor cords). And the money is pouring in...
Anybody else graduating this semester? My best friend graduated yesterday. She's an AST. I'm really proud of her.
