AggieAXO, I completely agree with you. I was born and raised in Austin, THE LIVE MUSIC CAPITAL OF THE WORLD. I live in san antonio now, but i go back home like every weekend. I just can't seem to get enough of great bands playing all over 6th street. Everyone is mellow, we Austinites don't get all psycho when we see movie stars, we just let them do their thing. I mean hey, they are people too. Then there's town lake where I learned to row.....ahh, i can almost feel the mist coming up from the water at my 6am practice, the best feeling in the world. So peaceful and beautiful to row down town lake and see the water glisten and then look up and see the downtown buildings. Its not too big, yet not small either. Its perfect. After I graduate from St. Mary's, I know for a fact I will move back to A-town, its the place to be.
