Hello everyone, I am new to greek chat and I am in need of any help you are willing to give. This week I have attended several NPHC recruitments events in which I have had a chance to research the sororities that I am interested in and make my selection. With careful consideration and and open mind I have narrowed down my prospects to one Sorority. I admire their belief, principles and work ethic. I also meet a few of the members that really like me and made me feel very comfortable........EXCEPT one. I do not know her at all neither does she know me but she doesnt like me. Before I ever spoke to her I noticed she stared at me for 2-3 minutes as I was watching a stepshow. I decided to approach her. I walked up with a smile introduced myself and asked if her group had performed, she said no and walked away. For the two following nights while her other group members would embrace me she gave me the worst looks ever!! In her defense two of the times I saw her the two gentleman she was standing with abruptly ended thier conversation with her to approach me (not my fault). I also noticed that at a recent party she would approach everyone (especially males) that I conversed with, to initiate a conversation (rude). I'm a happily married young woman looking for sisterhood and not a man or a competition. I spent my whole life modeling and competing in pageants, I dont want to feel like I'm competing with a "sister". I really like the organization alot, my number one choice, I just don't know how to deal with this young lady, or this situation. Please help!!!!!
