My daugther is about to head off to college in another year. She wants to attend an HBCU. We have dicussed sorrorities. I told her about how when I was in school about 20 years ago I wanted to become an AKA but didn't. I told her all the reasons I wanted to become an AKA with the way AKAs seemed to carry themselves being at the top of the list. I returned to school in recent years and obtained my Masters. My daughter has expressed a desire to become an AKA out of all of the other sorrorities; however, she has said that she wants me to become one first because she knows that was a desire of mine back in the day. I thought that to be funny but I did give it some thought. So my question is is there an age limit? Would it be absolutely ridiculous for a 40 year old woman to become an AKA? I know that on the graduate level (unlike undergraduate) you have tob asked or someone has to sponsor you and you can not solicitate joining. All I want to know what is the oldest age you've seen someone join?
