I don't know anything about your school personally, so I can't say whether black is best. Speaking as if you were attending pref at my school, I have to say I LOVE the second dress! I think both dresses are really pretty, and actually really like them both. But, the second dress really stands out and shows individuality. It would definitely draw interest at my chapter!
