The Watchmen

DH and I waited a little too long to see it in the theatre (we were reading the graphic novel) and we missed it. We got it on DVD the SECOND it came out. The graphic novel is probably now one of my favorite books EVER and the movie did NOT disappoint at all. I feel like it was almost MADE for fans of the graphic novel, so yeah, I can see how a lot of people wouldnt dig it, but I have to say, the movie has got to be one of my favorites of all time now. Rorschach was perfect. BEYOND perfect. Actually, ALL the actors they picked were perfect, but Rorschach blew me away..................
There were so many scenes where I was thinking, "Damn this looks JUST LIKE the book" It was awesome. And I didnt mind what they did with the ending.

If they HAD used the squid thing, I think they would have had to pull in The Curse of the Black Freighter b/c one of the people working on the squid was the guy who created Curse...............and that..............that would have made the movie WAY TOO LONG!
