Thanks Christiangirl. THat is EXACTLY what I wanted to know! I knew there was an interesting story behind it, I wish they had EXPLAINED that. It was so annoying to sit there and have it seem so important and then have it mean nothing at all!
I don't like that they switched out Lavender. Black girls can kiss gingers too. (My boyfriend was born with red hair!)
ETA: On second thought I'm glad they changed her ethnicity.
