1) The traditional placing is on the left side, near the heart. But (and I looked through the bylaws, standing rules and policies) there is no specific policy regarding this placement. In early years members were known to have worn the badge in their hair, on collars or lapels or as brooches.
2) Gamma Phi Beta also had the dark and light blue, but decided to change them to brown in honor of Dr. J.J. Brown, whose study was used for Friday afternoon meetings.
