Tragic Hit and Run at SE Louisiana

HAMMOND – Two Southeastern Louisiana University students and a former student were killed early Friday morning in a hit and run incident on Nashville Avenue, several blocks west of the university campus.

Two other students were injured, one critically.

Victims were business administration graduate student Maxime Profit, 23, of Vaires Sur Marne, France; sophomore Beth Marie Boudreaux, 19, of Husser, a psychology major and member of Alpha Omicron Pi sorority; and former student Thurman “Rion” Lowe III, 24, of Kenner.

I am so sorry to hear this! My prayers are with everyone affected by the accident.
