Kappa League
First of all, let me say that I LOVE Kappa League and everything that it stands for. I participate in my chapter's KL events and help prepare the boys for life.
SOOOOOOO.....
I was at a youth step show and witnessed kids doing grown folks activities. Our KL ranges from 11-17 years old. They are pretty mild mannered (most of the time) and show out when necessary. An undergrad bruh from Kansas, who lives in St. Pete and is very active with my chapter, assist the KL step team. He assist that they do not do certain moves and steps. This prevents them from getting that "I'mma be a Nupe" attitude. So another KL step team was in the show also. Let me say this first, they were great. It looked like an Nupe step team. Kane work on point, stroll tight. The kane work isn't my problem but the stroll concerns me. They strolled to "Candy" by Cameo. I got a problem with that. I stroll to that. They aren't Kappas. I loved their show and the represented well but I feel whoever trained them should be more respectful for what we have, those little things that made the bond sweeter. When I krossed, I couldn't wait to stroll to "Candy" and the KL can do it whenever? I don't like it. I just focusing on one aspect of the show but its my view.
Just My 2 cent
