The Valentine Thread

I didn't have anything better to do on Valentine's Day and ended up picking up some take-out from a place down the street.

While I was ordering, the guy asked me if I wanted the signature green onion topping on my meal. I declined. Then he thought better of it and commented that it was a smart choice since it was Valentine's Day and all. I laughed and said that there wasn't anyone I was trying to impress, I just didn't want the onions. We laughed about it and then I jokingly asked him if he wanted to be my valentine.

I sat down on the side and waited for my order. Then, when it was ready, he handed me my meal and a paper heart he had folded for me. Awww...that was really sweet.
