They say that a rising tide lifts all boats. However, some of us were so excited to see the tide come in, we moored ourselves to the dock, and are now experiencing (metaphorically, of course) an ironic gurgling death.
Yet more unfortunate statistics in the Great Hope Floats Tide Lifting Problem Disaster of 2009. Sigh . . . how could a kind decent God allow this sort of thing to happen?
