Sigmas/Sig Kap/SK
I was just wondering what everyone's campus nickname was. We are known as Sig Kaps here (and I know most places as well) and sometimes SK. However, a few of my more recent alumni hated that nickname. They felt like because during in pinning/recruitment songs we are "The Sigma's", that we should go as "Sigma's". However we have Sigma Sigma Sigma on this campus too.
Just wanted to know if my alumni were the only ones that ever felt that we should go as "The Sigmas", we joined PHC first,founded first...etc. (this is nothing against the women of Sigma Sigma Sigma.... this is jsut the argument that has been brought up)
