Now, the fact that you even typed all of this makes me think that you already know it's ok for you to not approve.
This is a weird situation all around. It's bad enough that it's someone your age... but someone your age who you know, and who treated you poorly in high school (and continues to do so). Have you had a serious conversation with your mom about it? Because if you just roll your eyes and complain about this behind their backs, it's not going to get you anywhere, and they'll probably stay together, pushing you farther away, as you continue to do the same to them.
If you talk to your mom, and she seems to not care about what your feelings are about this (which would be sad, but could happen), and it's really bothering you, then I agree... move out.
