It definitely depends; I know people who have the NYC area and in upstate NY and have no trouble at all. If I get to go back to Boston it won't be until at least 2010 anyway, when my cell phone contract will expire again; I'd just don't want to deal with dropped calls in CT for the next couple of years. The more I think about it I may just upgrade to a Blackberry and stick with Verizon.
