The Colgate campus paper reports on the university's suspension of the Kappa Alpha Theta chapter, and also reports that Theta HQ has revoked the chapter's charter:

There may be more news to come about these reported actions, given that Colgate, though a relatively small school, is prominent, and also given that Colgate's administration and the Greeks there have gone through a series of contentious times in the past.
Excerpt from longer article:
An alleged incident of hazing at Colgate's chapter of the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority has led to the chapter being placed on interim suspension by the University. In response to the alleged incident, the national Grand Council of Kappa Alpha Theta has withdrawn the chapter's charter.
Edited to add: I just checked Theta's national web site -- the publicly available portion, of course -- and there IS a notation of "disestablished" next to the listing for the Colgate chapter (in New York).
Edited again to add: The Kappa Alpha Theta national web site also has an announcement regarding the (former)Zeta Zeta Chapter at Colgate University. Excerpts from that announcement:
September 20, 2008 - Grand Council of Kappa Alpha Theta voted unanimously to close the Zeta Zeta Chapter at Colgate University.
. . . Grand Council believes that closing the chapter was necessary to uphold our standards and send a clear message that irresponsible conduct will not be tolerated.
Please note that chapter members have been instructed that all information concerning the chapter closure is confidential. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the Zeta Zeta Chapter, please contact Fraternity headquarters. (Bold face emphasis added.)
