I am 24 and still get carded EVERYWHERE. I have to make sure I have my license if I'm in the liquor store with my husband, at concerts, at restaurants and of course bars. I was thoroughly embarrassed at this one place. They ran my license through machines several times, under a light and magnifying glass several times and one of the other bouncers, who happened to be one of my friends, kept telling the guy I was 23. I held up the line for at least 5 minutes while they quizzed me. After all of that, I refused to stay there and give them any of my money. I don't deserve to be treated like that and still patronize a place that I know lets people in under age
. I still do that to this day. If someone wants to scrutinize me that much, they don't need my hard earned money
