scared to workout!
Well last week i got my two workout DVD's that i had ordered from barnes and noble. I got the NYC Ballet workout, and the Denise Austin Pilates workout. Even though i havent done the NYC Ballet one, it looks fun. So last thursday, i pop in the DVD and start doing the pilates. It looks easy but its actually hard, i couldnt do all the actual exercises but i tried my best. When i was finished i got a little dizzy so i took an aleve and was okay. I did it at night so about an hour or two after working out i went to bed. The next day i did the same workout which is only 20 minutes long, but when i was finished, i was REALLY dizzy and felt like throwing up. I was also really cold, like having the chills and got cramps. I thought the cramps were only because of the workout which focuses on the abs, but i am not sure thats why. I took two aleves and laid down on my bed for about 30-45 minutes. After that i was better but still a little dizzy.
Now i am scared to do the workout again because i dont want to feel like that.
I dont even know what happened, did my blood pressure go down?? I doubt i over excercised because its not even an aerobic workout and its only 20 minutes?!?!? Then again, i never exercise, i just walk in my neighborhood every now and then so my body is not used to working out, but its just pilates!
Last year when i went to get my annual check up i had blood tests done and they told me i had mild anemia and needed to take a multi vitamin..... at first i was really good about taking one everyday but now i never take it because those centrum pills are HUGE, even when i break them in half..... so i dont know if thats part of the problem?!?!
Has anyone ever experienced something like this before?
