Focus on high school right now. Then do your research on all the orgs (there ARE books available) and wait until you get to college to see who's doing what on your particular campus. And DSTCHAOS was trying to give you advice. Be respectful please! If you are not one that respects your elders you probably won't be chosen to become a member of any org anyway.
And our orgs are not about stepping, although SOME enjoy participating in step shows in their spare time. If you knew that already, you would not have asked the questions you did which is why you need to do a lot of research first before even thinking about which org you will pursue and let me remind you that pursuing an org does not mean that you will be selected for membership. Good luck in your future endeavors.
