I don't believe the idea of monogamy is something that can be instilled via evolution. Nuture, yes, via socialization.

factor. I will say that if that were the case, then we've still regulated men more. Women would only sleep around until they were certain they were pregnant. Men, on the other hand, could conceivably inseminate a different woman every day (more or less depending on their stamina).
