Hey guys I know what you mean it is very hard to find Step comeptitions in New york but hopefully this helps.
There is a Triple S II: step, stroll and salute step competition taking place @ Baruch college on feb. 22, 2008 6pm-11pm. Many well known Greek organizations will be participating. They are holding auditions now but For any official inquries please email:

Tickets are $7 in advance $10 at the door.
I am always participating in different shows so if I get info on others I'll keep everyone posted.
