Ike Turner made the first rock record? I guess you've never heard of Bill Haley. Not to mention that Ray Charles invented the genre with which Ike Turner made most of his hits, (Male vocalist with a trio of female backup singers).
BTW, I hate Fox News and the Washington Times, sorry to destroy your stereotypical view of southerners that are in good fraternities.
