What FSUZeta said. Your campus would know best. I don't see any harm in going to informal recruitment parties, even if it's 1 or 2 chapters out of 10+ chapters (Or maybe more chapters will be participating, it all depends on the school). Even if you don't find a fit this spring, you will at least get practice having recruitment conversations and feel more comfortable in the fall.
