Or, the opposite happens - no one cuts the girl BECAUSE she's on TV, she gets all of her top choices and her rush is cake. That would be totally unrealistic, unfair to all of the other PNMs, and unfair to future PNMs who would come to that school thinking that they were always going to get their top choices.
