Or maybe it's because hubby is there during childbirth (and not check-ups).
I had a c-section and I could NOT have my husband there for that. I don't know why, I just wouldn't have felt comfortable with him seeing INSIDE my uterus. Plus, he about passed out when they drew blood at my first appointment, so I think that would have put him in shock.
