I am not checking email right now as I busy, but I know many of you have been in prayer for Soror (DG) and her family. Today the family has officially confirmed that their daughter, sister, aunt, best friend was in fact the woman who was found yesterday.
Thanks to those who sent me the various links via PM. However, as Soror DG was a GC regular (she was here before I joined) and a Soror, it was out of respect that I wait until they confirmed the identity of their loved one. For whatever their reasons were, I had to respect that.
This was no random case, but a case where someone who has been in our midst (for the real old school GCers) was affected. There was NO way that I was going to have this thread go in a direction based on information that was not confirmed/hearsay, etc, even if it came from credible/ reliable sources.
The confirmation is there, now the thread is open again...
Now, Soror DG and her family require continued support and prayers. This is an awful and dreadful situation.
