I think what he meant by this statement is that people who are not members of these resceptive organizations will assume or come to the conclusion that this is what represents them because it's what they see......................For example the Alpha's on our campus have little apes on their line jackets, so an "outsider" might assume that that represents them..........even though it might not be necessarily so...............
