Just thought I would let y'all know that there are MANY badges on E-Bay right now. KA, Alpha Gamma Delta, SAE, Alpha Chi Omega and many others. This is probably one of my BIGGEST pet peeves!
What ticks me off is these idiots who collect fraternity/sorority badges just for the hell of it! The badges have no sentimental value whatsoever to these people, yet they want them because they're pretty to look at or are valuable because of the gems used to create them. Ugh!!! The whole situation makes me sick! There are a million things to collect in this world, and these idiots pick a group of items that they legally have no right to own.
I will buy EVERY DZ badge I can get my hands on, and I will let other non-DZ bidders and the sellers know exactly how I feel about the situation.
Thank goodness our sorority has a policy about rescuing badges and will reimburse us for what we spend to save them!
Sorry for all the frustration... I really needed to vent!!!!!!
