I am truly sorry if your father died tragically in an awful accident. Losing a parent at a young age is an extremely difficult and wrenching event.
Speaking only for myself, I am not jealous or "snarky" because you are beautiful or successful or a perfect, classy, elegant, socially prominent, petite and intelligent lady who had a perfect rush in pink sequins.
It's just that I am old enough to know that the truly perfect, beautiful, successful and classy ladies really have no need to beat people over the head about it. "Mean girls" are the ones who do that.
