A question about deferred recruitment

At Elon, everyone was required to have 12 credits at Elon under their belt before they could go through recruitment. Students who have enough AP credits to bump their classification usually still classify themselves by how many years they have been on campus, which makes things easier. I was technically a sophomore when I entered college, but I stayed for 4 years so I could take extra classes, which I emphasized when going through recruitment.
