You know, there are other, semi-permanant options, she wouldn't have to get a full tubal. There's Mirena*, which is a plastic IUD about the size of a quarter which is good for 5 years of birth control. There's the implants (not very safe)...and there's the shot...anything...

*Mirena has a website, but when I went to look it up, the stupid "Sonic Wall" my boss put on said "Forbidden Website: Sex Education"
