i was talking to a freind who was going through issues with men basically because of sex. when i told her "how about waiting for marriage or at least for love" she looked at me and laughed.
another friend insists on being loud and does a lot of cussing in public. when i mentioned that it is unlady like she laughed at me also.
is it a crime to act like a lady?
why have most women my age not learned these fundamental values?
or am i just too too too old-fashioned?

no...you are not old fashioned...you just hold true to the ideals you've set for yourself or that were instilled in you regardless of how individuals around you conduct themselves...it is never a crime to act like a lady...but maybe one to insist that others do...since we all have free will to do as we please...i think in part...women our age have not learned...or practice these fundamental values because it is almost "uncool" nowdays to be ladylike...the thought is that it somehow implies that you are weak...when in fact the very opposite is true...
