25. Recognize that racism, individual and institutional, does exist (the recognition is important, just because there is a black supreme court justice, that doesn't mean that it does exist.)
26. Understand that racism is a wall that can be scaled and not a cage that keeps us trapped. (When I think of what other have accomplished in the past, within a society where much more virulent forms of racism were acceptable, it makes me wonder where we would be now if those people had just given up hope.)
